After we suffer an injury we strive to rebuild and regain our previous level of activity, allowing us to return to our regular exercise and movement practises. Restoring correct movement patterns and strength is only part of the journey back to full fitness. An additional layer of specific exercises to target the affected joint/tissue/structure enables us to go beyond a return to our previous state, bridging the gap to being stronger and more resilient than before to reduce the possibility of future injury.
